The color chartreuse is a secondary color formed by mixing blue and yellow pigments and adding more yellow to get a vibrant yellow-green color.

The color is mostly associated with the natural world in plants.  Chartreuse is lively and bright. Doggone Good Dog Designs for the Home

Whenever the subject of  dogs comes up, I think of the quote by President Truman, “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.”  I believe if you want a friend who gives you unconditional love, get a dog.  I have often thought there was a reason why the word God and Dog are interchangeable since they possess many of the same qualities.
