Have you any Wool?

Wool is a beautiful lustrous natural protein fiber that comes from the fleece of sheep. The fiber is resilient, soft, springy and extremely durable.  Wool is extremely resistant to abrasion which makes the fiber an excellent choice for carpeting, drapery, rugs, upholstery and clothing. Wool is also known for its flame retardant qualities. Wool has a wonderful touch giving it an appealing hand.

Smitten with Knittin

After spending last summer in the Pacific Northwest in Portand, Oregon, I became inspired to learn to knit. I’ve got a lot to learn still but I am really enjoying my new hobby. My favorite yarns are the natural fibers like mohair, wool and silk. I love the way the natural fiber yarn feels sliding through the dancing needles. Designing a knitting room on the Olioboard mood board site was a lot of fun. I am already starting to become a yarn collector. And I am smitten with knittin!…
