The most effective way is to enlist the expertise, knowledge, resources and services of a professional interior designer. The job of a professional interior designer is to listen to your needs, consult, educate and design a space for you that functions well. The designer is similar to the conductor of an orchestra making sure all the instruments are finely tuned, the timing is ideal and the musicians are positioned perfectly for the grand performance.

After a successful career in banking and in new home sales, I went back to school and obtained a degree in interior design.  Creating beautiful things has always been part of what motivates me. Whether it is in arranging flowers, creating a beautiful window treatment, choosing colors and fabrics for a room, or planning a menu, I am happy when I am organizing, planning and designing. I live in Arizona with my chivalrous husband and my sweet dog  Lillie.

I graduated from the American Institute of Interior Design and hold an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College. I am an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers, which is an organization dedicated to promoting the profession of interior design.  I started my career in interior design interning and working for two high profile interior design firms in Scottsdale Arizona.  I have an extensive background in designing custom bedding and window treatments and I am an expert in color consultation. I have  designed many homes working with blueprints from the beginning stage of construction to final completion as well as  individual rooms.
