As an interior designer, fascination with the history of interior design and products for the interior inspired my blog. Here I share the experience I’ve gained from my interior design education and years running an interior design business. You will discover interior design trends, design tips, styles, motifs, furniture, colors, decor, and designs from antiquity to the present-day. I hope you will enjoy my musings and learn something along the way. Most importantly, I hope you will come back often.
I am a long-time resident of Arizona. I obtained an Arizona real estate license in 1996 and went on to sell hundreds of new homes for a local Arizona home builder. There I gained valuable knowledge of new home construction and how to follow a real estate transaction through the many months of the home building process. I hold two degrees in interior design from the American Institute of Interior Design and Scottsdale Community College. My earlier experience was in the financial services industry where I managed a medium-sized portfolio of high net worth/ high income clients while acting as their primary resource for all financial products and services.
Visual design creation is a passion and I offer an affordable interior design service on Etsy. I won the Zinc Door’s Vibrant Spring Contest, Wayfair Nursery Child’s Room Design Contest and Whole New Home’s Design It to Win It Contest. I am also the creator of Tastemaker Collections for Arcadian Home, a designer on Houzz, the Style Exchange Directory on Project Décor and a designer on Whole New Home. My hobbies include baking, Japanese flower arranging known as Ikebana, blogging about interior design, and yoga. An animal lover, I share my home in Arizona with my husband and my two dogs Lillie, a Jack Russell terrier, and Mario, an Australian terrier.
I am dedicated to help you save time and money while creating the space of your dreams. Whether you are considering an update, remodel, or build a new home, we can help you love the space you live, work and play in. Client interaction and attention to detail are part of each project because good design is thorough down to the last detail. Call for a quote today @ 602.803.1995
